v The villas Mariposas are very close to the village of Las Terrenas, approximatively five minutes walk. They are located in the Fishermen's village where you will find nice beaches, pubs and restaurants.
v To reach the beach from the residence Mariposas, you will need to walk a hundred meters at most before being able to dive into a 30 degrees water all year long.
v In order to facilitate the access to the villas Mariposas upon arrival, you will find below a map of the village of Las Terrenas; Do not hesitate to seek ask to the locals which will undoubtedly tell you the road to follow.
v To reach the village of Las Terrenas from Santo Domingo several options are available: first of all, the cab which costs about 200 USD that we can book for you and which will send you directly from the airport to the Mariposas'residence, the air conditionned bus from the "Caribe tours"company will take you to Sanchez then take a motorcycle or a taxi to Las Terrenas, the last solution is to fly to the airport of El Portillo located about five kilometers from the Mariposas'residence.
